Anastassia Tchorbadjiyska is a board-certified physician assistant to Dr. Brian Schofield. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University, she has built a solid foundation in patient care and orthopedic practices.

Anastassia has always been interested in the orthopedic field since studying for her Master’s degree. She was immediately drawn to the challenges and positive impacts that orthopedics brings to help patients return to their active lives. She has been working for Schofield, Hand and Bright Orthopedics since May 2023 after working as an orthopedic physician assistant in California. She assists Dr. Schofield in surgical cases, as well as evaluates and treats new and established patients in the office for their upper extremity orthopedic needs.

Anastassia was born in Bulgaria and grew up in Indiana. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and loving on her pup, Pooka.
